Fastener is an indispensable part in production and life since ancient times. Although it is small, it plays a great role. In modern society, there is still a lot of little knowledge in the fastener industry that we don't know. The following small series will tell you about it!

1. With more and more American-funded enterprises entering China, the demand for American-made screws in China is increasing, mainly in the Yangtze River Delta region; Hong Kong was once a British colony, and Hong Kong-funded enterprises had a great influence on the Pearl River Delta, so before 2002, there was a great demand for English screws in the Pearl River Delta. The Pearl River Delta is mainly developed in light industry, such as lamps, toys and electrical products, so they have a great demand for precision electronic screws (small screws).

2. The American screw (tooth angle is 60) and the English screw (tooth angle is 55) of standard teeth are interchangeable except for 1/2 (provided that the check gauge fails and normal use is no problem). Because American screws and English screws can't pass through the gauge, but they can pass the nut normally.

3. The United States is a very democratic country, and there are many standards for fasteners. IFI, ANSI, ASME, etc. all belong to American standards and have certain influence.

4. Germans are famous for their preciseness and pragmatism. DIN (German Standard) fasteners have a great influence in China and even the world. ISO (International Standard) is greatly influenced by DIN, and GB (National Standard) also draws lessons from DIN to a great extent. However, the head of DIN screw is heavy and wastes materials (compared with Japanese standard small screws).

5. At present, the demand of GB in Chinese mainland fastener market is far greater than that of DIN, but now the demand of GB is on the decline, while the demand of DIN is on the rise.

6. JIS (Japanese standard) has made a great contribution to the small screws, and lean production is achieved mainly because Japanese-funded enterprises dominate the world in the home appliance industry, as can be seen from the small and exquisite JIS Japanese small screws. Therefore, the Japanese standard has a great influence on precision electronic screws.

7. In the machinery and equipment industry, the purchasing cost of normal screws accounts for 0.5%-2% of the total purchasing cost, from which we can estimate the purchasing amount of screws by the total sales of a company's products. At the same time, we can also see that the fasteners are in a very "fun" position, and the business owners usually pay attention to the big head. Our screws are often ignored and are not given due attention, which leads to frequent problems such as quality and service.
